On April 7, 2026 Sadie passed out at school. She was rushed to the ER, transferred to Pensacola, and then emergency flown to Nemours Children’s Hospital for critical care.

After extensive testing, Sadie was diagnosed with Carvajal Syndrome — an extremely rare genetic condition that affects the heart muscle.  Doctors performed additional scans and placed Sadie on the heart transplant list. We must temporarily relocate and remain near UF Health while awaiting a donor heart.

As you can imagine, we are overwhelmed emotionally, physically, and financially. Through it all, we continue trusting that God is with Sadie every step of the way.  We ask for your prayers. Please pray for wisdom for Sadie’s medical team, strength for Sadie’s mom, and peace for Sadie.
